Well, I like the Italian accent actually... but that is a terrible scenario, and an old one. Did anyone see "Total Recall" ("Atto di forza"), with A. Schwarzenegger?
And the idea of mass memory is one of the core things in the whole Dunes saga by F. Herbert.
Would you really like to live in a world like that, where anything artificial is like true? In such a world thruth would not exist, and learning would not make any sense...
